Welcome!!!

So, here's the story behind this blog: Marie and Quel are setting off to do research halfway across the world - Marie will be in Cambodia and Quel will be in Mozambique. We are doing qualitative research with NGOs in those countries. Quel has been told that she will have access to e-mail but not the web while in Mozambique - the reason for a combined blog. The plan is that Quel will send pictures and updates to Marie (who will have access to the web in Cambodia) and she will then post them on our blog along with her own pictures and updates. So we will each be authors of our own updates but the design and set up of the blog is Marie's - she's a little anxious about being responsible for this given how uptight Quel can be about these things. We will miss all of you while we are away and hope that you'll have fun hearing about our "excellent adventures!" Please keep in touch! We will be lonely, so e-mails from all of you will be greatly appreciated! WE LOVE YOU GUYS!!!
